The state of Tennessee has been taking a second look at MMA rules and regulations since June of 2007 to perhaps change their laws on it to cash in on the possible events they could be holding in their own state.
As part of the study:
“Today’s committee meeting also will include testimony from Memphis native
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, light heavyweight champion of Ultimate Fighting
Championship. “
