Great episode with two good match up fights. One was between Corey and Nate Diaz and the other between Manny and Matt Wiman.

I was ready for some good fighting last night. The first bout between Nate and Corey was different than I thought. Corey came out as a different fighter and had improveded his game ten times more than he had with the Emerson fight were he eked out a decision. Corey kept the pressure on Nate the whole time. Corey had Nate close to the cage and was on top of Nate when someone from Corey’s corner yelled, “get him against the wall”. This proved to be a bad call because Corey dropped one arm under the leg to help move Nates body closer to the cage wall and Nate sunk in a Triangle pretty easily. I thought Nate would dominate the whole fight, but Corey came out strong and was a whole lot better this time around. I have a renewed faith in Corey now and I think might be an up and comer soon in the MMA world.

The fight between Matt Wiman and Manny did not disappoint either. Manny came out like I thought he would and sucked the life out of Wiman. It just took a little longer than I thought. Wiman had a lot of fight, but Manny proved to be the aggresor. The whole time BJ Penn is yelling, “do a triangle, do an arm bar Matt, do anything!” I wish I had a sound clip cause it was cracking me up. Manny threw a mean elbow on Wiman that made the ref stop the fight so the doctor could check it out. The doctor was pretty quick to give the thumbs up. Manny dominated both rounds and ended up winning the decision.

Karo showed up and trained with Manny and Nate said his piece to Karo about being cool that Karo beat his brother Nick Diaz. Then at the end it looks like something is gonna be stirred up for the next episode between Karo and Nate as they squared off in the previews for next week.
